This striking two-piece ensemble features a beautifully tailored jacket and matching high-waisted pencil skirt, both crafted from a richly textured baroque-inspired brocade in luminous metallic gold.

The jacket has a clean, round neckline, an open-front silhouette, and ornate gold crystal-set buttons at each sleeve. The matching skirt is cut in a refined pencil shape, designed to sit high on the waist for an elegant, elongated line.

Brocade pieces from this collection are highly sought after by collectors and were prominently featured in the Yves Saint Laurent: Gold book and exhibition. A gold brocade Haute Couture coat was famously worn by YSL muse Loulou de la Falaise.
