Thierry Mugler Spring/Summer 1994 black and white sculptural “Zig-Zag” jacket, an iconic and highly collectible design by Manfred Thierry Mugler from the Spring 1994 collection titled “Longchamps.”

Pieces from this collection are widely regarded as museum-worthy, with select designs held by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The contrasting white lapel is asymmetrically cut and sculpted against the black body, giving the piece a sharp, architectural quality that feels more like wearable sculpture than traditional tailoring.

The jacket creates Mugler’s signature hourglass silhouette with a sharply cinched waist, curved seam construction, strong sculpted lines through the body, and dramatic jagged detailing at the collar and cuffs.
