Stunning Dior evening gown from the F/W 2007 collection, designed by John Galliano. Crafted in soft gray silk with intricate draping, sculptural pleating, and hand-applied beading throughout the bodice and skirt. The strapless sweetheart neckline and architectural folds create a dramatic and elegant silhouette that reflects Galliano’s couture-inspired work for the house.

Gray has been one of Dior’s core house colors since Christian Dior’s earliest years, inspired by the soft light of Paris and the gray facade of his childhood home in Granville. He favored this shade because it highlights structure better than any other neutral, making the lines and construction of a garment unmistakable.
