Christian Dior by John Galliano Fall 2004 “Gambler” silk midi dress, a rare and playful piece from one of Galliano’s most recognizable Dior moments.

The dress is cut in a fluid, body-skimming silhouette with delicate spaghetti straps, a softly draped neckline, and a front slit for movement. The pale blue silk is printed with a trompe-l’oeil denim motif, mixing jean seams, studs, pockets, and washed textures with Galliano’s signature sense of wit and fantasy. A wonderful finishing detail is the crystal dice embellishment at the shoulder strap.

Elegant, collectible, and very Galliano-era Dior, this piece has the ease of a slip dress with the sharp visual language of the house’s early-2000s runway.
