Very good vintage condition for approximately 50 years old. Exterior tweed is in excellent condition with no noted flaws. Buttons have lost their original color/finish, with exposed metal visible underneath. Silk lining is in very good condition with a few faint, barely visible spots. One small area on the skirt lining shows signs of a past repair/alteration.

A rare and highly collectible Chanel Haute Couture suit from the 1970s — the original ivory-and-navy tweed silhouette often referred to as “Blue Jasmine.” This exact archival design was later recreated by Chanel for the 2008 collection and became widely recognized through its use in the Blue Jasmine film wardrobe. A rare chance to own an early Haute Couture version of this iconic look.

Made in a lightweight off-white / ecru tweed, the suit is finished with navy contrast trim that cleanly outlines the edges. The jacket has four patch pockets and signature CC buttons, with a hidden chain inside the lining for a better drape.

The matching skirt keeps the look simple and classic, letting the tweed texture and navy details stand out.
