An iconic example of Chanel’s costume jewelry from the Lagerfeld era, these rare clip-on earrings feature a symmetrical starburst design in heavily textured gold plating, centered with a domed faux pearl in the style of Maison Gripoix. The sculptural form and Byzantine influence are hallmarks of Victoire de Castellane’s early work for the house. Stamped CHANEL, collection 26, confirming provenance from the Fall 1991 season.
