An iconic and highly collectible piece from Karl Lagerfeld’s Fall/Winter 1991 “Hip Hop” collection, where Chanel’s classic codes were reinterpreted through the lens of early 1990s street culture. This season is considered one of Lagerfeld’s most influential moments, blending luxury, attitude, and urban references in a way that permanently shifted fashion language.

This jacket is extremely well documented and was famously worn by Linda Evangelista in the Fall/Winter 1991 Chanel advertising campaign. The same model appeared on numerous top supermodels of the era and has been featured in major fashion archives, including the Karl Lagerfeld exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

Crafted from soft black quilted lambskin leather with ribbed knit cuffs and hem, the jacket features signature Chanel detailing throughout, including 24K gold-plated CC logo buttons and the iconic chain-weighted hem. A true statement piece that embodies the spirit of early ’90s Chanel.
