This rare Chanel dress is from the Fall/Winter 1988 ready-to-wear collection designed by Karl Lagerfeld. Crafted from rich black velvet, it features a flattering mini-length silhouette with long sleeves and a subtle notched neckline. The highlight is the intricate edelweiss embroidery—soft cream floral appliqués accented with gold and black beads and pale green thread—arranged around the neckline and cuffs.
