Chanel Spring/Summer 2006 cream camellia bride dress, an exceptionally rare and highly collectible final runway look from Karl Lagerfeld’s Spring 2006 collection.

This ethereal strapless dress closed the Chanel Spring 2006 runway as the bridal finale — the most important look of the show and a true celebration of the house’s most iconic flower, the camellia. Crafted in softly textured cream silk, the dress is designed with a sculptural strapless bodice, voluminous gathered skirt, and dramatic oversized camellia appliqués blooming across the bust and hem. The crinkled, petal-like fabric gives the piece a beautifully romantic, almost hand-touched quality, while the mother-of-pearl camellia buttons at the back add an exquisite Chanel finish.

Only eight examples were reportedly produced worldwide, making this one of the rarest and most coveted Chanel dresses of the 2000s. The design is also especially memorable as the prom dress worn by Marissa Cooper in The O.C., giving it a strong pop-culture connection in addition to its runway importance.
