An incredibly rare and collectible piece from Chanel’s Spring/Summer 1990 collection by Karl Lagerfeld. It became an instant icon when Madonna wore it for Vanity Fair cover and editorial shot by Helmut Newton. This design is well-documented, appearing in multiple runway images and worn by Claudia Schiffer in Chanel’s official Spring/Summer 1990 campaign. This gown would make a breathtaking bridal look - perfect for someone who wants a rare piece of Chanel history.

Crafted in soft ivory silk chiffon, the dress features a meticulously pleated crossover bodice, a draped tulip-style skirt, and an alluring asymmetric hemline. The sculpted silhouette is enhanced by jewel-like shoulder straps composed of large baroque faux pearls framed in antique gold filigree, crossing dramatically at the back - one of the most memorable details from the collection.
