Chanel F/W 1989 Black Sequin Gold Buttons Evening Top

Sale price$4,200.00

Condition: VERY GOOD

Chanel Fall 1989 black sequin top, a rare and highly collectible piece from Karl Lagerfeld’s late-1980s Chanel era.

This documented design was modeled on the runway by Cristina Cordula and also appeared in editorial styling from the period, making it a wonderful collector’s piece. The top is fully covered in glossy black sequins, creating a liquid, high-shine surface that catches the light beautifully. Finished with a rounded neckline, short sleeves, black beaded trim, and gold-tone Chanel buttons arranged down the front, it has the elegant evening glamour that defined Chanel at the end of the 1980s.

The silhouette is fitted and slightly cropped, designed to sit close to the body while still feeling easy to style with high-waisted skirts, trousers, or evening separates. A striking example of Chanel’s eveningwear language: polished, graphic, and instantly recognizable.
