Chanel Cruise 2000 White Sequin Star Embellished Tulle Gown

Sale price$12,000.00

Condition: VERY GOOD

An exquisite Chanel Cruise 2000 evening gown designed by Karl Lagerfeld, famously associated with Winona Ryder. A beautifully delicate and highly collectible example of Chanel's turn-of-the-millennium aesthetic, combining understated elegance with intricate embellishment.

Crafted from layers of delicate white tulle over a soft ivory lining, the gown features an elongated, sleeveless slip silhouette with a refined square neckline. The sheer outer layer is decorated throughout with tiny, translucent square iridescent paillettes, creating a subtle, shimmering effect that changes beautifully with the light.

One of the most distinctive details is the star-shaped muslin panel at the left hip, which introduces an unexpected sculptural element to the otherwise fluid silhouette. The softly asymmetric hem adds movement and allows the delicate layers of embellished tulle to fall naturally around the body.

The gown is finished with a concealed back zipper and a keyhole opening fastened by a delicate button bearing the Chanel CC logo at the nape of the neck.

With its ethereal texture, subtle sparkle, and clean, elongated silhouette, this archival Chanel design would make an exceptional alternative bridal gown, particularly for a civil ceremony, intimate wedding, or reception. A difficult-to-find design from Lagerfeld's Chanel era, equally appealing as a collector's piece and a special-occasion dress.
